After the KENT post I want to show you some CORNWALL pics. But beware, here comes a lot of nature, miles of coastal walks, beautiful coves and beaches.
If you plan on visiting the most beautiful part of southern England, you have to see Lizard Point. The southernmost point of the island offers amazing views and interesting walks.
Kynance Cove is a very lovely hidden place protected by coastal rocks and it is rarely as empty as shown on the image. When the weather is warm, the English flow down the hills and take over this charming spot.
In Cornwall we visited some impressive mansions and gardens. Trerice was very nice. The Elizabethan manor house from 1573 located near Newquay.
And not forgeting the romantic Lost Garden of Heligan. There are different areas, but I loved the jungle part with all the exotic plants and winding paths.
My favorite was Tremenheere Sculpture Gardens, which was created with a modern touch, rather than the traditional look of all the other gardens. It was opened in 2012 and displays works by artists such as James Turrell, Kishio Suga and David Nash and, with the very nice Lime Tree Cafe, it’s the perfect place to relax and enjoy some drinks or food.
