Rome is so full of childhood memories. We spent every summer there and “al mare” (at the sea) together with all our uncles, aunts and cousins, not forgetting “Nonno e Nonna” (Grandpa and Grandma). This time was so normal for me. Nothing special! But today I am so happy to have all these lovely memories.
Last week my sister and I had to travel immediately to Rome and we found a little time to stroll through this amazing city. Here are some photos that I took of our second hometown.
Our walk started on a sunny day and 16 degrees at Piazza Cavour to Via Cola di Rienzo, a nice shopping street. Crossing the bridge to Piazza del Popolo we reached the beautiful ancient streets near Piazza di Spagna. Finally we passed Via Condotti and the ever-popular Antico Caffe Greco.
